Enjoy the best views of the Peruvian city with this Tacna Bus Tour. Discover its varied history and culture, while making stops at symbolic landmarks.
On this Tacna Bus Tour, you'll discover all that the 'Heroic City' has to offer! The day begins with pick up at your hotel in the centre of Tacna at the chosen time.
We'll board a double-decker bus that will take us around Tacna's most important spots, and learn about these locations with a bilingual guide.
The bus will continue on to the Neo-Renaissance Tacna Cathedral, designed by the famous Alexandre Gustave Eiffel. The next stop will be the "Arco Parabólico" one of the emblems of the city, built in honour of the heroes of the Pacific War.
When we go back to the bus we'll head to the Bolognesi park, where we'll visit its botanical garden. And we'll visit the Tacna Plant Zoo, located in the Municipal Forest. From here we'll leave the city to visit a bodega which makes both wine and pisco, where we'll learn all about how they are made, as well as taking a taste of course!
Following on, the bus will take us to the Miculla Old Valley, where we'll visit the suspension bridge and the archaeological site (entry not included). You'll have free time to admire the famous petroglyphs, one of the most important cave legacies of the South American Andes.
The last stop on the tour will be the Caliente Spa, where you will have free time to enjoy a dip if you wish. Finally, we will return to the bus to return to your hotels, putting an end to the three-hour tour.
If you prefer to get to know Tacna with an exclusive guide, you can book a private tour of Tacna.
